Across the Box

This is a great drill to improve control of the ball, practice short angle shots and finesse at the net.

How it works:

Two players, P1 and P2, stand across the net behind the service line trying to keep the ball diagonally inside the service boxes.
The point starts by one of the players dropping and hitting the ball. Then players are free to use any kind of shots (drop shot, lob, topspin, or volley) to play out the point. Each player serves (drop-and-hit) for five points and then they switch.
Play a game first to 11 points and then switch boxes.
