Stay low side-to-side
This drill is all about quick footwork and change of direction.
How it works:
The player stays on the baseline and the feeder kneels down having a bunch of balls on the face of the racquet near by and about five feet in front of the Player. The Feeder tosses balls randomly side to side making the balls bounce not higher than two feet. The player practices groundstrokes staying low and moving the feet quickly to change direction according to where the feeder tosses the ball.
It is a great drill for staying down at the ball, quick change of direction and speed.
