Drop and Catch
Player 1 stands at the service line holding a ball with the arm extended to the side. Player 2 gets ready at the baseline. At command, player 1 releases the ball which player 2 will sprint to catch before it bounces twice.
After a few repetitions, player 1 holds one ball in each hand, arms extended to the side and releases randomly one ball which player 2 again will try to catch before it bounces twice.
This is a good drill for quick reaction, speed and hand-eye coordination.
